Alysoun Owen has over 25 years publishing experience in Academic, Professional and Trade publishing, with a particular focus on digital strategy and implementation. She has worked as a Publisher for print and digital in the UK and Singapore. She established Alysoun Owen Consulting Ltd in 2012. She is a member of the Independent Publishers Guild www.ipg.uk.com.

Alysoun has an MA in English from Somerville College, University of Oxford and is fluent in spoken French. She is a regular speaker at literary conferences and publishing events in her role as Editor of the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook.

Alysoun has established a diverse and reliable network of associates with whom she works, including editors, writers, data architects, project managers, designers and researchers.

 

Eden Phillips Harrington joined Alysoun Owen Consulting full-time in September 2017 after working as an editorial intern on the 2018 edition of the Writers’ & Artists' Yearbook. Eden is a recent graduate and has a BA in English from the University of Nottingham.

Her particular expertise includes digital product management and helping to scope new products for online and print. She works closely with publishers, such as Bloomsbury, and software developers to provide support and guidance in the implementation and maintenance of content management systems.
